2022 October 5 Star Champion: John Cousins

Each month we feature five winners and connect their stories to the 5 Star principle they best represent. 

Nomination by Claudia Oberthier and Zuly Soto: John has been volunteering to assist with numerous events in the Rancho Sahuarita community for years, including on weekends and during family time. Most recently, our Assistant Community Manager for Rancho Sahuarita went on vacation, so John brought his wife to volunteer and assist with greeting the homeowners. He is very accommodating and works closely with other staff members, including those directly employed by the developer, and always promotes Scout and Associa with pride.  He’s been known to dress as Santa Claus, hand out candy as the Easter bunny, and most recently, he took time out of his busy day to read to some of the youngsters in the community.  John made his family part of the community his serving and I do not know sufficient words in English to express my gratitude for his service and care. If the world would have more people like him, it would be a better place!
