2021 September 5 Star Champion: Brian Chambers

Each month we feature five winners and connect their stories to the 5 Star principle they best represent. 

Nomination by Tami Rutkowski: Brian received a call that one of his residents with Alzheimer’s wandered out of his home one Sunday night. By Monday morning, Brian was on site assisting police. He remained on site all day, working to bring this gentleman home safe and sound. He continually posted updates on TownSq and Volo, requesting volunteers in the community to assist in a search. Within twenty-four hours of him missing, the gentleman was found and is now home safely with his family. In a posting on the police Facebook page, Brian was publicly thanked along with the many other volunteers that assisted. Brian demonstrated that the residents he serves are not just clients to him. This is just who Brian is -- he treats all his communities as if he lived there himself and these residents were his own neighbors. Thank you, Brian, for all that you do!
